insecure through food pantries and food banks<\/li><li>Mobilizing our global supply chain to provide water and food in response to natural disasters<\/li><li>Supporting our military Veterans and first responders, both physically and mentally<\/li><li>Providing training and nutritional education for Special Olympics athletes<\/li><li>Giving young people the knowledge and skills to plan for the future<\/li><\/ul><p>With each of these efforts, we are enabling brighter futures for those served through our nonprofit partners, giving them continuing opportunities, a renewed sense of security, Guests who visit SpartanNash-operated stores or shop with us online can donate at checkout. In 2023, we raised and granted nearly $1.1 million through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spartannash.com\/corp-responsibility\/foundation\/retail-scan-partners\/\">four companywide fundraisers<\/a>.
