2024 campaign donated $240,000<\/span> to support and empower athletes across nine states<\/i><\/p>\n

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.<\/span><\/span>, April 18, 2024<\/span><\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — Food solutions company SpartanNash<\/a> (the “Company”) (Nasdaq: SPTN) today announced the successful outcome of its annual in-store foundation fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics<\/a>. The in-store campaign donated $240,000<\/span> from community members and the SpartanNash Foundation.<\/p>\n

The in-store fundraiser occurred from March 20 through April 6<\/span>. Donations support Special Olympics athletes in Indiana<\/span>, Iowa<\/span>, Michigan<\/span>, Nebraska<\/span>, North Dakota<\/span>, Ohio<\/span>, South Dakota<\/span>, Minnesota<\/span> and Wisconsin<\/span>. Funds raised in each state are sent directly to the corresponding local Special Olympics affiliates.<\/p>\n

Additionally, over 25 Special Olympics athletes are employed by SpartanNash, collectively serving guests for 157 years at Company-operated grocery stores.<\/p>\n
